Why Me??

How about we planned a trip to the local zoo Saturday and as we get ready to walk in my camera decides it is time to die. Oh the agony!! I wanted to chunk it 100 yards. But thank goodness my mom had hers and I took over with that. When we left everyone went home and crashed.

Later on that night while surfing the net, I tried my luck on my favorite site (Amazon) for camera's. I found a newer version for only $100. I immediately purchased it and she is on her way to me at this moment. I really need it especially with The State Fair starting this week and a birthday party we plan to attend this weekend. I purchased am Olympus camera. I've had that certain brand of cameras for over three years. I love them and they are so easy to use. So zoo pics are coming.

I honestly haven't written in over a month. No specific reason, just haven't had the feel of it anymore. I'm gonna try to blog more, hopefully ( a very big hopefully). Things are going good, the family is okay, and the boys are bad as ever. LOL!!! But I will try to blog more.

Happy Birthday!!!!!

Today is The Man's 4th birthday. I gave him his gifts yesterday and he hasn't put them down since. He asked for a horse barn, some horses and a truck with a horse trailer attached to it. I plan to have a little party at his school this afternoon, plus take him and my two nephews to Ch.uck E Che.ese later this evening.

Little Boys

Last weekend we had to take family pictures. So I kept my oldest nephew Zech Friday night. After getting settle in I was ordered to make a pallet. (The Man thinks this is whats needed to even sit on the floor) At first they were playing with horses and trucks but The Man decided he wanted to play on his game.boy**

My head was pounding and I gave in, he already had the little orange NBA game that is loud as hell for a little game. So Zech was given the orange b-ball game and he played on his. They laid there and played till they started arguing about something and I made them go to bed. Keeping in mind that my head was already hurting, I couldn't take that bickering back and forth.

The next day family portraits were taken and everyone went on their merry way. We got up pretty early, so me and The Man found ourselves back home and took naps. Me in the bed and he laid down on his pallet and slept till we just couldn't anymore. By the time we got up, it wasn't as hot as it could have been, so I sat outside abnd let him ride his bike around.

What we've been doing....

Played around in the yard with The Man and my nephew.

Celebrated my nephew's 1st birthday.

Rode an airplane for the first time and went to Kansas City, MO.

While eating at Famous Dave's took pics in the hall.

Dinner at Famous Dave's that me and The Man shared and still had some left.

Visited a Lego display.... and much, much more.

But after being off for a week, it was truly hard getting up this morning. I enjoyed my vacation and we plan to go to the water park Sunday. I can not wait.

Our Latest Accomplishment

I haven't posted in weeks. Just not really feeling it lately. But that doesn't mean I stopped taking pics.

About two weeks ago The Man begged to take his training wheels off and I did. He immediately took off. It only took us a good 30 minutes and he had it down. The boy loves his bikes and has been riding ever since he got a tricycle at one years old.

It has become so hard to post now.

I am so tired. Yesterday was my birthday and I stayed on the go. Went to breakfast with a friend. Went to lunch with a few friends and the rest of the day we just sat around and lets the kiddies run themselves crazy. But we plan to all go out this weekend and party.

Now I'm at work and sleepy as ever. With all the big timers gone for the rest of the week, I know for sure these are gonna be half days.

My Child....The Junior Mr. Brown

It's a joke in our family that The Man is our own little "Brown" (Tyler Perry's movies). Honestly he does love to get dressed up and most Sundays he dresses up like in the 1st pic below. But he is dangerous when he dresses himself. Notice pics below:

Friday I went to the movies and he stayed with my mom. She called me laughing hard as ever talking about him. He had gotten wet while helping her water the grass and went inside to change. When he came back out, she said he looked like a walking blood clot. Everything he had on was red: underwear to socks. I told her leave Baby Brown alone and let him be.

A Child's Imagination....At the Barbershop

Every other Tuesday The Man's dad takes him to get his hair cut. When he gets home it all about his new cut and who cut it. He was so riled up that day he wanted to play barbershop. I let him go at it. You would never guess who were his "clients". He insisted on clipping the towel around them and giving them a fresh cut. All could do was laugh.

Semi-Wordless Wednesdays....Stick-Horse

Okay, so it's hard to post pics of him and not explain. Click picture to get a better view of the stick-horse.

The Man found a stick around my mom's house and deemed it his horse. He named it Candy, just like his uncle horse and even tied rope around it. He rides that dang stick like it a real freaking horse. Even uses another stick as a whip to spank the horse.
He usually gets to ride on weekends, but haven't lately because of all the rain we have been getting. The Man is destined to be a city-cowboy. Told me this morning "when he get big, he's gonna get him a big green(his favorite color) truck". I laughed and told him go for it.
I will tell anybody never under-estimate the imagination of a child. Never!!!

Back on the road & Random things

Well the car is fixed and thank God. It runs 100 times better and I'm glad to be out of my brother's smoke box.

Saturday me and The Man helped mom with her yard work. We started out just digging up old bulbs and ended up replanting things and laying grass in various areas. We worked all day from 11 something in the morning to 8 that night. We all were dog tired once done. Before I left I was already sore.

Woke up Sunday morning and felt like I had got kicked all night by a bucking bronco. Everything hurt, mainly my stomach muscles and my thighs.

And today is the day my bestie wants to start walking. Help!!!

Sunday brought some thunderstorms our way. The Man and I got up, ate breakfast, put on some clothes and laid back down. Lazy I know, but how can you not sleep when it's raining like that. We both slept for a good while. Got up and headed over to my dad's mom house. Ate, hung out there, then retreated back home to get ready for the week.

Now I am at work, plotting how I can get out of here early. LOL!!!!

Randomnosity

Having car trouble.......costs $300 to repair (money that was going towards a new phone..Bummer)

Stuck driving my brother's car till it gets fixed...Thanks for the car but it's total hell (he smokes and the smell is killing me slowly)

The Man thinks he is grown and can stay up all night, resulting in him not wanting to get up in the morning

And on top of that he has been trying to drop out of "DAYCARE" for the last three weeks.

Now that the weather is getting warm, ex's are popping out of the woodwork's trying to be friends again. Goodbye, miss me with that bullsh*t

Found a long lost classmate on My.space the other day, we were like two Dennis the Menace's in high school. He comes home from Cuba this summer...Yaaaay!!!

Speaking of My.space, am I wrong if I only accept people who I KNOW as friends

Saw the movie Vantage Point for the 1st time Saturday and was mad as hell how the movie played out, all that starting over damn near drove me crazy
